Tim Drew

When I was 18, both my older brother J.D. and I were drafted in the first round of the major league draft. By the time I was 21, I was pitching in my major league debut for the Cleveland Indians. At age 22, the Indians named me as one of their starters coming out of spring training.

At this point you probably think I’m set for life. Well, you’re right!! I’ve been set for life ever since I asked Jesus Christ to be my Savior at the age of nine during my church’s Vacation Bible School. Jesus is the most important influence in my life. Because of my relationship with Christ, I have forgiveness for my sin and salvation from hell. “I can do all things through Christ because He strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), during both the tough times AND when tempted because of success.

No matter how long my career lasts you can be sure that Tim Drew will always be #47, pitching for God seven days a week.
